New to mountain biking? You’re in the right place – Mansfield Outdoor Center’s sand-based, flowy trails are the perfect place to start. This four-part clinic mixes fun lessons with easy trail rides and just enough know-how to keep your wheels rolling. It’s all about building confidence, having a laugh, and discovering how awesome riding can be. Come dressed for the weather, with your mountain bike, helmet and water bottle.
Session #1: Learn basic bike maintenance and safety checks, adjustments for fit and body positioning while riding.
Session #2: Learn how to use brakes and gears efficiently in a range of settings.
Session #3: Learn how to select a line in a range of terrains, how to climb efficiently and descend confidently.
Session #4: Learn how to ride berms and turn corners effectively.
